this morning's moment of silence just isn't here in newtown. president obama and many cities across the country will also take that time to remember the victims. bob and sunny? >> let's hope folks around the country, take a moment and reflect on those lives lost and what the country experienced this week so close to the holidays and what that town has been through. those young lives. i think emotionally it's been a rough week for the country. yet alone those folks in newtown. >> it's a watershed moment for this discussion we're finally having about mental illness, about gun control. i think it's going to be that event in history where people remember where they were when they heard about the shootings in newtown, connecticut. another interesting note is adam lanza's mother was buried today in sort of a very quiet funeral in new hampshire where she grew up. >> exactly. obviously, the focus, as it should be is on the young kids. that's the part that is so gut wrenches. but we did want to note she was brutely shot two to four times in her pajamas
